Brief CV
Asimenia Papoulidi has received her PhD in Developmental Psychology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (with scholarship from State Scholarship Foundation). She possesses an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Panteion University and a second undergraduate degree in Communication from the Open University (UK). She has a Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from University College London (Institute of Child Health) and she was an intern in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) at Great Ormond Street Hospital (NHS Trust-UK).
Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Social Work in University of West Attica under the supervision of Professor Katerina Maniadaki. She teaches the courses of “Behavior Analysis” and “Psychology of Interpersonal Relationships” at the same department and she also teaches at postgraduate level as a Collaborating Teaching Staff at the Hellenic Open University.
Concurrently, she is working as a School Psychologist in primary education. She has participated in major research projects in collaboration with other academic institutions in Greece and abroad (Aristeia, Horizon). She has published her research in Greek and international scientific journals and books. She has participated with oral presentations in Greek and international conferences. She is a review editor in the academic journal “Frontiers in Psychology”. She is a member at the Hellenic Psychological Society and at the British Psychological Society. Her research interests focus on issues of developmental psychology, developmental psychopathology as well as on intervention programs for the promotion of resilience in children.
